Mind Against and Andrea Oliva feature on HABITAT’s new

HABITAT has unveiled the first chapter of its latest compilation project, Metaflora IV, bringing together 15 tracks from a roster that spans some of the most recognisable names in melodic house and techno alongside a new generation of producers shaping the genre’s future.

Landing on May 28, the release marks the return of the label’s long-running Metaflora series, a project that has become a snapshot of the sounds orbiting around the HABITAT universe. This latest edition features contributions from label founders Mind Against, alongside artists including Andrea Oliva, Woo York, Beswerda, EarthLife, Ivory, Upercent, Sezer Uysal and more.

Opening the compilation is Overture, a collaboration between Mind Against and Jos & Eli that sets the tone with sweeping melodies and a driving rhythmic pulse. Elsewhere, Woo York delivers the darker and more hypnotic Lose Control, while Andrea Oliva’s Neon Hearts leans into cinematic textures and intricate percussion.

Across the 15-track collection, the compilation moves comfortably between emotional peak-time moments and deeper, more atmospheric territory. Rotterdam producer Beswerda contributes the dub-infused System, while Tharat and shel·ly bring festival-ready energy with Believe In Me. Tracks from NEMSIA & SAIINT, Alessio Cristiano & Baraka, and Gespona & Fabricio Mosoni further showcase the broad range of sounds currently emerging from the label’s ecosystem.

Rather than functioning as a traditional label sampler, Metaflora IV feels more like a curated overview of where melodic club music currently sits. There are moments built for large festival stages, others aimed squarely at darker dancefloors, but the common thread remains HABITAT’s focus on emotional storytelling and immersive production.

The release arrives as the first half of a two-part project, with Metaflora IV Vol. 2 scheduled to follow later this September.
