What So Not returns with “Candy Flipping”, the third single from his forthcoming EP I SAW A TRAP DJ AND IT CHANGED MY BIO CHEMISTRY. Released on July 17, the new collaboration with Jack Blom, featuring vocals from Alina Pash and NERVE, dives deeper into the conceptual narrative driving the Australian producer’s latest body of work.
Described by What So Not as “a dance of the human ego,” the track unfolds through a cinematic dialogue between opposing emotional forces. NERVE embodies the restless, impulsive voice of the self, while Alina Pash provides a grounding counterbalance, creating a dynamic interplay that mirrors the record’s central themes of transformation and self-examination.
Sonically, “Candy Flipping” embraces one of the EP’s most adventurous directions.
