Madrid-based DJ and production duo Sparrow & Barbossa team up with Cuban vocalist Eribertho Cruz on their new track ‘Bien Buena’, out now, worldwide, across digital platforms via Sony Latin label Orianna. This marks the first official single to be taken from Sparrow & Barbossa’s upcoming new album ‘Réciprocité’, due for release later this year.

The production duo, formed by Swiss Bryan Coletta and Uruguayan Emiliano Haberli, explores the Afro house influences and Caribbean rhythms that capture the seductive allure of Cuba. ‘Bien Buena’ celebrates the sounds of percussion and dance, opening with a traditional rumba groove. Cruz’s impressive vocals are front and centre from the start, as he sings, “Que rica esa rumbera.”

Sparrow & Barbossa showcase their love and agility with Latin rhythm patterns, romanced with the bright sounds of piano, maracas, clave, and shakers. ‘Bien Buena’ switches gear and travels to another realm with a pulsating electronic groove, then circles back to layer Cruz’s vocals and the more traditional music instruments with an Afro jazz-tinged twist for the song's finale.

“Many thanks to Sparrow & Barbossa for including me in this production,” says Cruz. “It was a huge pleasure for me to be in it.”

‘Bien Buena’ is the second track from Sparrow & Barbossa’s upcoming sophomore album, Réciprocité’, and follows the March 17th digital release of ‘Condenao’ – a fun and festive club tune that captures the essence of Latin House music, with Salsa style piano chords and a fantastic vocal delivery by Marbella-based singer and frequent collaborator, G.Zamora.

Alongside the album rollout, the DJ and production duo will also be bringing their diverse and captivating sounds to venues across Latin America, Albania, and Ibiza throughout Spring and Summer 2023. For full list of tour dates, see below.
