Sonny Fodera returns with hypnotic dance anthem "Mind still" (feat. Blythe).
Hot off the heels of his chart topping hit ‘Asking’ ft. Clementine Douglas last year, global tastemaker Sonny Fodera returns with another signature crossover anthem, 'Mind Still' (feat. blythe).
Following the live performance of ‘Mind Still’ at Sonny’s sold out Alexandra Palace in London show on 29th March, the new single is set to earn Sonny another top track of the year and summer anthem as he continues to push his innovative sound on his own independent label, Solotoko.
Having become one of the world's most recognisable and influential artists in recent years, Sonny Fodera’s ‘Asking’ on Solotoko achieved over 100M world wide streams, and marked the first artist-owned dance label to achieve a Top 10 single in over a decade.
In the past year alone, ‘Asking’ has continued to catapult, earning a total of 500K OCC Single Sales in 2023, spending 27 weeks in the UK Top 40 Chart with a peak at no.7 and now awarded with Gold Accreditation.
This huge, record breaking achievement was driven by loyal support including playlisting across on BBC Radio 1 for 11 weeks as well as landing playlist adds across KISS FM,
Capital Dance and the Hits Network. Elsewhere, the track had been tagged on Shazam more than 350K times and peaked at no.3 on the UK Shazam Top 200 Chart.
Meanwhile, back on the club circuits this summer, Sonny Fodera returns to Amnesia in Ibiza for a 16-week residency of his own after such a successful season there in 2023, as well as performing four dates in Australia across Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
With collaborations elsewhere under his belt with the likes of MK, Jazzy, Belters Only, Becky Hill, Gorgon City, Danny Howard and many more, Sonny Fodera has become a prominent and in demand figure that is defining the modern house sound.
Continuing to demonstrate his unique gift for producing standout originals, new single 'Mind Still' is a hypnotic anthem featuring the spine tingling and angelic vocals of blythe. Soaring above warm synth patterns and driving house drums with lush melodies that swirl amongst the dance floor ready groove, ‘Mind Still’ is sure to captivate packed crowds this summer.
