Scandinavian pair anamē drop second album ‘Hopes & Fears’ on Anjunabeats

Marcus Schossow and Thomas Sagstad aka anamē have announced their second album ‘Hopes & Fears’ album will arrive on 21 February 2025. It comes on Anjunabeats and is followed by a DJ tour of North America starting on 7 March.
Known for their melodic house sound, this duo has built a reputation for strong storytelling from their debut 'Beautiful World' to remixes for Armin Van Buuren and Franky Wah.
The album features a range of collaborations including Danish pop artist Lydmor, whose vocals are featured on four tracks, Norwegian singer-songwriter Moyka also joins the project with anamē reworking her 2019 track Colder, and Swedish artist Welt contributes 'It Can Be Better Now'.

Longtime collaborator Bien returns for 'Happy To Be Alive', following their 2021 viral hit 'The Best Part', which recently surpassed 100 million streams and additional vocalists on the album include Biishop, Bri Zoli, and PEARL.
Says anamē, "Hopes and Fears builds on the journey we started with our first album, which was about finding beauty in the world around us. Back then, how we experienced the world felt far less bleak than the stories we were being force-fed. This new album is about holding onto hope when the times feel increasingly uncertain—a search for light in the dark and the belief that even in the shadows, there’s always a glimmer of light worth fighting for.”
A percentage of all revenue from sales and streams of this album will be donated to young persons’ mental health organisation, Mental Helse Ungdom.
