Refuge Nyc Announces Early Winter Programme

REFUGE NYC has released its late November and December schedule, confirming Sasha for a New Year’s Eve performance and Victor Calderone to headline New Year’s Day, alongside a wide-ranging programme that includes Octave One (Live), Carl Craig, Mike Dunn, Vivian Wang, Serge Devant, Josh Butler, and others.

The New Year’s Eve booking marks a rare appearance for Sasha in a 500-capacity club, reflecting the venue’s focus on intimate scale and high-fidelity sound. REFUGE also confirms that Serge Devant will join as a new club resident, beginning with an extended after-hours session in December.

REFUGE opened earlier this autumn and has quickly established itself within Brooklyn’s nightlife landscape. The venue is operated by John Dimatteo and sound engineer Craig “Shorty” Bernabeu, who oversees ongoing refinements to the club’s custom REX analogue sound system. A new purpose-built DJ booth completed over a three-month design and construction period has also recently been installed.

The upcoming schedule features a mix of international and New York-based artists. November programming includes Battle Hymn with J. Aria, Michael Magnan and a Thanksgiving Eve lineup with Natalia Roth, Shahar and Jean Pierre. Battle Hymn returns later in the month with Dane Deveraux, Eli Escobar and Tom Peters, followed by Sunday Selectors with Joey Llanos and Shorty.

In December, REFUGE will host Josh Butler, Liam Palmer, Elliot Schooling and Heidy P; Chuwee & Matisa; and an after-hours session with Serge Devant & Dimatteo. Additional headline shows include Miss Gypsy, Carl Craig and Octave One (live) on 20 December, Mike Dunn with Cosmo, Simon Heyliger and Mario MPC on 27 December, and Jellybean Benitez on 28 December.
