Ms. Elin Liso is recognized as one of the key early voices within Tel Aviv’s electronic music community. She emerged at a time when the scene was largely male-dominated, becoming one of the few women shaping a sound that had barely existed in the local landscape before her arrival.
While many DJs begin their careers behind the decks, Liso’s story started in the studio. Her first steps into electronic music were as a producer, where she focused on developing her sonic identity and refining her musical language long before performing live. Coming from a fifth-generation musical family with strong classical traditions, Liso was the first to pursue electronic music professionally. Her decision was not widely supported. Within her family, electronic music was perceived as a male-dominated field, and her choice was met with skepticism rather than encouragement. Determined to follow her vision, she chose independence from the beginning, financing her own studies, equipment, and professional development while building her career step by step through dedication and persistence.

With a sound grounded in groove-focused minimal and classic house influences, she continues to cultivate a global audience while remaining deeply connected to the Tel Aviv underground that shaped her musical identity.
Beyond her professional milestones, Liso often emphasizes the importance of genuine human connection.
“It is important to follow what you truly love,” she explains. “When you connect deeply with something, you eventually meet others who share that connection. You realize you are never truly alone. Over time, a community forms, and shared passion becomes a universal language that transcends borders and backgrounds.”
