Nicole Moudaber Launches MOOD Collective, a New Label for the Soulful Side of Tech House
Sets the tone with inaugural release ‘Get Back with Castion and Announces first ever MOOD Collective show
Nicole Moudaber is not done reshaping dance music — far from it. Known for her boundary-pushing sets and unmistakable techno authority, the Lebanese-born icon has announced the launch of MOOD Collective, a fresh new imprint dedicated to her long-held passion for house and tech house.
The move signals a new chapter for Moudaber — one that goes beyond genre to explore the essence of groove and connection.
“I’ve always had a deep-rooted love for house and tech house, and MOOD Collective is my way of creating space for that passion to thrive,” says Nicole. “It’s about the soul, the groove — not just the genre. My fans know I love to mix things up. This is me going one step further.”
True to form, she sets the tone with a bold first release — ‘Get Back’, a thumping, percussive collab with rising Spanish producer Castion. The track strikes a balance between Nicole’s signature depth and Castion’s buoyant tech house bounce — a slick, club-ready production that delivers a statement of intent: MOOD Collective isn’t just a label, it’s a mood-shifting mission.
“I’ve been loving Castion’s style for a while,” Nicole explains. “He’s got this percussive tech house meets house sound you can really groove to. He was the perfect match for the label’s first release.”
For Castion, whose star has been steadily rising on the international circuit, the collaboration marks a milestone.
“‘Get Back’ was born from the idea of merging raw energy with groove — a journey that connects techno roots with a modern groovy twist,” he shares. “Collaborating with Nicole has been a true honour.”
But this isn’t just a label launch. Nicole is throwing her first-ever MOOD Collective show, taking place during July Morning Week at EXE Beach in Bulgaria. The open-air celebration, with its sea-meets-sound energy, will feature the Sicilian tech house duo VLTRA and promises to set the tone for the label’s forward-thinking ethos.
With MOOD Collective, Moudaber reasserts her role not just as an artist, but as a curator of future sound. This new platform sits alongside her already revered InTheMood empire — which celebrated its 10-year anniversary last year — and gives her the flexibility to lean into her multifaceted influences and shape the next generation of groovers.
