Jörgen Marks His Arrival With Debut EP LIBRE

Carving out his own lane in the global house scene, Los Angeles-based producer Jörgen has released his debut project, the LIBRE EP, out now (Oct. 17) via Greater Than Distribution. Spanning five tracks, LIBRE is less a collection of songs than a declaration , a statement of intent that introduces Jörgen’s distinct sonic identity to the wider dance world.

Anchored in deep tech foundations and heavy basslines, LIBRE pushes further with hypnotic synth work and Latin percussive textures, a nod to Jörgen’s Colombian roots. Atmospheric touches drawn from his time spent between Boston, Iceland, Colombia, and Los Angeles expand the palette, giving the EP a transportive quality. It’s music that thrives in the late-night hours, but carries with it the storytelling weight of lived experience.

The rollout has given glimpses of that range. “Montañas Oscuras” leaned into Latin influences and secured playlisting on Spotify’s Latin House and Deezer’s Latin House. “You Know I’ve Had Enough” explored hypnotic grooves and was picked up by Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Dance. Most recently, “I Lost Control” arrived as a driving, late-night cut built on commanding basslines and urgent synths.

Jörgen’s tracks have also found their way into the sets of respected selectors across the global house circuit, including Westend, Haylee Wood, Tom & Collins, Leandro Da Silva, Felix Cartal, Tita Lau, Ferreck Dawn, and many more; proof that his productions resonate on dancefloors far beyond his own.

Outside the studio, Jörgen has built momentum with standout DJ sets at SXSW and Beyond Wonderland, bringing his high-energy but detail-rich style to festival crowds. His growing reputation as both an artist and a curator within the house community has made him a name to watch as his sound continues to evolve

With LIBRE, Jörgen opens a new chapter. The title itself meaning “free”reflects both the sonic expansiveness of the EP and the mindset of an artist stepping fully into his voice. “This project is about freedom in every sense,” he says. “The freedom to experiment, to honor my roots, and to create something that feels true to where I’ve been and where I’m going.”

It’s an invitation into his world. One built for dark rooms and late nights, but illuminated by the personal stories at its core. With LIBRE, Jörgen has arrived.
