Insomniac Records welcomes Wakyin and Vibarco for Latin-tinged melodic house single 'Matador'

Fast rising Dominican-Puerto Rican producer Wakyin and Grammy-nominated Colombian artist Vibarco have collaborated on 'Matador,' a new single for Insomniac Records. The track releases on April 4 and blends melodic house and techno with plenty of sunny Latin influences.
Wakyin is best known for his 'Closer' collaboration with Bantu and is back on Insomniac Records for a seance time here. 'Matador' is a fresh mix of progressive house synths, dynamic rhythms and Vibarco’s evocative vocals with Latin inspired merengue and salsa elements.
Says Wakyin, "I found this vocal and just knew I had to flip it. It was a bit different before with a slower tempo, but I spiced it up a little, and I love the final product. Or as the streets say, "En la Calle le dicen el matador."
Vibarco is a three-time ASCAP award-winning songwriter and he adds a rich narrative layer to the track after previous collaborations with stars like Maluma and Shakira.
'Matador' highlights both artists' cultural roots while taking melodic house and techno in a fresh direction.
