HUGEL and Bryson Tiller meet on “Temptation”, the first taste of Twenty One’s next chapter

HUGEL keeps the momentum behind Twenty One moving with the release of “Temptation”, a new collaboration with Bryson Tiller arriving on July 10 via Make The Girls Dance Records. The single opens the campaign for the special edition of HUGEL’s debut album, due later this autumn, and pairs one of dance music’s most commercially successful crossover producers with one of contemporary R&B’s defining voices.

Landing just weeks after Twenty One debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Top Albums chart, “Temptation” extends the French producer’s ongoing exploration of Latin House as a meeting point for club music, R&B and global pop. Rather than chasing genres, the record leans into atmosphere, built around warm piano motifs, understated percussion and HUGEL’s groove-led production, while Tiller’s unmistakable vocal delivery brings a restrained sense of intimacy.

The collaboration arrives during another pivotal moment for Bryson Tiller. A decade after T R A P S O U L reshaped the landscape of modern R&B with tracks including “Don’t” and “Exchange”, the Louisville artist continues to expand his catalogue while celebrating the album’s tenth anniversary. His recently announced Bryson Tiller Presents: The Neo Trapsoul Tour will take him across North America, Europe and Australia, alongside preparations for a forthcoming studio album.

For HUGEL, “Temptation” follows a year defined by scale. After releasing Twenty One, the Marseille-born producer reunited with David Guetta on “Shine” alongside French Montana and Aidan Martin, joined Guetta onstage during his sold-out Stade de France performance in Paris, and continues to balance his Make The Girls Dance residency at Hï Ibiza with new Las Vegas residencies at Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub.

The single also reflects the collaborative spirit that shaped Twenty One, a project featuring appearances from David Guetta, Snoop Dogg, Big Sean, French Montana, Tokischa and others. Rather than treating collaboration as spectacle, the album positions Latin House as a flexible framework capable of absorbing influences from hip hop, R&B and Latin music without losing its club identity.

With more than one billion streams generated during 2025 and an audience now exceeding 33 million monthly Spotify listeners, HUGEL has become one of the central figures behind Latin House’s international expansion. “Temptation” continues that trajectory, offering another example of how club music increasingly moves across borders without abandoning the dancefloor.
