HOLY SHIP! WRECKED WARM-UP PLAYLIST

Eleven years ago, Holy Ship! reimagined what a music festival experience and community could be, with its successor Holy Ship! Wrecked bringing this concept to land with even more potential for complete attendee immersion.

TOKiMONSTA one of the headliners not to be missed, playing Holy Ship! Wrecked on Friday night, shares this amazing playlist with us, so we can start to get in the Caribbean party mood.

From December 12-16, she will be joined by the likes of BOYS NOIZE, CHRIS LAKE, CLOONEE, GREEN VELVET, MAU P, SKREAM and many more... The event returns for four nights of luxury accommodations, top-tier music curation, and immersive entertainment at Hard Rock Riviera Maya on the shores of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.

Sometimes, we knowingly choose to immerse ourselves in false narratives, people, and moments, allowing them to engulf us until we lose our sense of reality and our sense of self. This track with Rochelle is a super special one, as I allowed myself to take risks and experiment sonically.

The latest single from labelmate Cakes da Killa from his forthcoming Black Sheep LP, “Cakewalk” moves like a new mission statement, Cakes tearing through a mutated house shuffle with the hook “You can’t have your cake and eat it too,” centering him popping shit and pondering love.

This special project with Suzi Analogue is one of my favorites. It never had a formal release, so it feels right to share it with the world a decade later with fresh ears.

A personal favorite from Rochelle Jordan’s 2021 Play With The Changes LP. Less talking, more dancing.

Oasis Nocturno (Remixed) is no skips all around, but this track in particular gets some extra luv because Dombresky is spinning our Young Art Records HS!W takeover alongside me, Rojo and Mary Droppinz.

Young Art labelmates Daktyl + Benni Ola have such a unique chemistry and sound, and their Chaos Theory Vol. 2 EP is no exception. Stoked to have them both on the Young Art imprint.

This Cakes da Killa record from Svengali, the artist’s 2022 debut full-length album, is a guaranteed dance-floor classic, produced by longtime collaborator Sam Katz.

Brazil-based femme icon Urias + Cakes da Killa come together to work their magic on this remix of Cakes’ 2023 track “Sex Drive.” No further explanation needed.

The 12-track Lune Rouge remix album features some of my favorite artists and humans. This Sofi Tukker remix of “I Wish I Could” is a straight groover, with vocals from Selah Sue.

Another hit from Rojo’s Play With The Changes, Got Em incorporates production by Machinedrum and timeless vocals from Rochelle – an effortless blend of fresh electronic and R&B.
