Heineken Balaton Sound 2024 treats audience with star-studded performances and new setup
Heineken Balaton Sound took place in Zamárdi, Hungary. By Saturday night, the total attendance had exceeded 100,000 people. The audience witnessed performances by James Hype, John Newman, Amelie Lens, Paul Kalkbrenner, Reinier Zonneveld, Purple Disco Machine and many more. Heineken Balaton Sound concluded with headliner Timmy Trumpet and a spectacular endshow by Q-dance.
Heineken Balaton Sound welcomed its visitors this year with a new layout, from the updated main entrance to the new position of the Main Stage. The 400 m² LED wall once again provided a stunning backdrop for the Main Stage shows, enhanced by truckloads of effects and impressive light shows.
This year’s edition was also fantastic for the performers themselves. Meduza, Purple Disco Machine, and James Hype arrived early on the first day to reunite. On Friday, Marshmello filled the Main Stage dance floor and overwhelmed the crowd with his dance tunes. Lost Frequencies clapped for the audience while standing on the DJ booth, with John Newman watching the show from the side of the Main Stage. Paul Kalkbrenner expressed his strong affection for Hungary, and Timmy Trumpet brought Hungarian spirit to the stage with a shot of pálinka and celebrated his wife’s grandmother on stage.
During the daytime, the audience enjoyed activities in Lake Balaton, relaxing, boat parties, games and yoga. The new 'fashion community space,' the Fashion Hub, was a great success, open from early afternoon into the night with its bar and chill-out area.
‘'Heineken Balaton Sound was fantastic this year. Besides the star DJs, we put the real stars of the festival, the audience, in the spotlight. During the day, our pier and the Heineken Chill Zone were very popular. In the evening, there was a huge party in front of the Heineken Balaton Sound Main Stage and at the Rádio1 Heineken Beach Club. Thank you for this unforgettable four days, and let’s toast to all the stars of the festival,’' said Barbara Lőrincz, group brand manager of Heineken’s premium brands.
