Funk Tribu presents 'life', a project shaped by the point where pace stops holding

Emerging from a period of intense global momentum and non-stop touring, Bogotá-born and Berlin-based producer Funk Tribu returns with LIFE. Released on August 7th, 2026, via his own imprint TRIBE, the three-track conceptual project reframes what artistic evolution looks like amidst the relentless pace of modern club culture.

Structured as a three-part journey moving from soul (alma) to mind (mente) and body (cuerpo), LIFE traces a shift in perspective born from necessity. Following the global phenomenon of "Phonky Tribu" (100M+ streams) and his debut album Against All Odds, which took him from a bedroom in Engativá to main stages like Tomorrowland, Awakenings, EDC Vegas, and Boiler Room, the project turns inward to capture the space between momentum and its personal consequences.

The opening piece, "reborn (alma)," sets an introspective and expansive atmosphere right from the start. The track is built around a poignant emotional breakdown that directly reflects the initial moment of reset.

The journey continues with "where are you taking me? (mente)" alongside Dillistone. This second chapter delivers an immediate, vocal-driven narrative backed by tight and playful percussive patterns.

The main trilogy concludes with "this is the moment (cuerpo)," which pushes into a sharper, more energetic territory. Driven by acid basslines, the track balances its intensity with ethereal vocal layers that cut through the mix.

The project is completed by the bonus track "life (vida)" and accompanied by a cohesive series of short films. This audiovisual experience will culminate in an exclusive release event and screening at Berlin's Studio 1111 alongside the TRIBE community.
