Daisybelle launches 'Eyes Wide Shut’ remix series with potent rework from TSHA

London-via-Puerto Rico DJ and producer Daisybelle has announced a new, two-part ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ remix series will kick off with a TSHA rework before CC:DISCO! Serves up a remix on 15 May, both via HE.SHE.THEY. Records.

TSHA has become a key prominent figure in the UK electronic music scene with her blend of house music and its r&b inflections and subtle nods to early rave culture. She has appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix, received a MOBO nomination for her production work, and earned a Grammy nomination for co-writing Diplo’s Let You Go. Her 2022 debut album Capricorn Sun was named Album of the Year by both DJ Mag and BBC Radio 1 and now she is back with a standout remix.

Daisybelle says, “I was about to chuck all my demos out the window but something told me to send them to CC:DISCO!. We’d never spoken before - only followed each other online - but I sent her this really intimate message. She responded with so much support, in the most ‘CC’ way, and gave me the confidence to keep going. CC posted a video playing one of my unsigned tracks at Lost Village. I got loads of DMs - one of them was from TSHA. I’d known her for years but had never thought to send her my music. She told me she loved it, which meant so much, especially because this track is one of my most vulnerable. To now have her and CC remix it… it’s incredibly special.”

TSHA adds, “Excited to be part of the HE.SHE.THEY. family with my first remix on the label. I was a big fan of the original and loved putting my own spin on the track.”

Her take on 'Eyes Wide Shut' with vocals from singer, songwriter and Soho Radio host Tasty Lopez introduces fresh melodic house magic layered with rhythmic tension and UK garage-inspired textures that will do plenty of damage in the clubs this summer.
